Kyrgyz, Armenian FMs discuss bilateral co-op issues

Bishkek, April 3, 2021 . / Kabar / . Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev held a bilateral meeting with his Armenian counterpart Ara Aivazian.

The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said that the meeting took place as part of participation in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

During the meeting, the foreign ministers of the two countries discussed the current state and prospects of development of the Kyrgyz-Armenian relations, issues of organization of contacts at high and highest levels, as well as holding joint events this year, in particular, the second political consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers.

"The sides exchanged views on topical international issues, including cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Armenia, primarily within the UN, CIS, EAEU and CSTO. In addition, the parties confirmed their mutual intention to build up cooperation on the whole range of issues of mutual interest," the report said.
