Kyrgyz athletes successfully perform at Taekwondo Tournament in Cyprus

Bishkek, Oct.29, 2019./Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's GTF Taekwondo team won 16 medals at the Eurasia Open Championship, the press service of the Federation of this sport reported.

The tournament took place in Kyrenia, Cyprus on Oct. 21-27.

Kyrgyz athletes won 8 gold, 8 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Mirbek Saparbekov, Kurmanbek Zakhretdinov, Arsen Taalaibekov, Nurtilek Imanali uulu and Almazbek Abdillayev became the winners of the Hyeong section.

Kurmanbek Zakhretdinov, Hanbolot Ernisbek uulu and Yrysbek Janybekov climbed to the first step of the podium in the massogi category.
