Kyrgyz athletes take part in opening ceremony of Paralympic Games in Tokyo

Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2021 / Kabar /. The national team of Kyrgyzstan took part in the opening ceremony of the XVI Paralympic Games, which started inTokyo, Japan, the press service of the Directorate for Non-Olympic Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

At the Paralympics, the honor of Kyrgyzstan will be defended by athlete in para-track and field athletics (shot put) Arystanbek Bazarkulov and Hayitkhon Khusan kyzy in para-judo in the weight category up to 57 kg among blind athletes.

Bazarkulov will perform on September 4 at 12:35 Bishkek time, and Hayitkhon Khusan kyzy on August 28 at 13:30 Bishkek time.

XVI Paralympic Games will be held in Tokyo from August 24 to September 5.
