Kyrgyz athletes to take part in Asian Marathon Championship

Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2024. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz track and field athletes, international masters of sports Ilya Tyapkin and Gulshanoy Satarova will take part in the Asian Marathon Championship, the domestic Athletics Federation reported.

The marathon will take place on January 21 in Hong Kong. About 70 thousand runners from different countries will take to the start line. Due to high humidity levels and a challenging course, the Hong Kong Marathon is comparatively slower than other major marathons.

This marathon has a Gold Label according to the criteria of the International Association of Athletics Federations - IIAF.
