Kyrgyz athletes win gold and silver at World Youth Freestyle Wrestling Championships

Bishkek, Nov. 8, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz athletes Ernazar Akmataliev and Bekbolot Myrzanazar uulu won gold and silver at the World Youth Freestyle Wrestling Championship (U23) in Belgrade, Serbia.

In the final match, Ernazar Akmataliev (70kg) met with Vazgen Tevanyan and defeated him with a score of 10: 2. Earlier, in the semifinal bout, Akmataliev defeated Azerbaijani wrestler Murad Yevloyev with a score of 12: 8.

Bekbolot also won a clear victory over the Belarusian athlete Dmitry Shamelan in the semifinals with a score of 10: 0. In the final fight, Myrzanazar uulu fought with Azerbaijani Aliabbas Rzazade in the weight category up to 57 kilograms. Bekbolot won silver.
