Bishkek, April 2, 2021 / Kabar /. On the sidelines of the CIS Ministerial Council meeting in Moscow, a bilateral meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei took place.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that, Kazakbaev briefly informed his Belarusian counterpart about the current internal political situation in Kyrgyzstan and the upcoming important political events.
The sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, including the issue of holding inter-MFA political consultations this year.
Noting the importance of continuing cooperation between the two countries within the framework of regional associations, the sides agreed on the need to strengthen bilateral trade and economic cooperation. In this context, the ministers touched upon the topic of organizing the next 10th meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Commission this year in Kyrgyzstan and holding a bilateral business forum.
The sides also paid attention to the issues of interaction on international platforms and mutual support, touched upon the issues of promoting cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
