Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2023. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz boxer Amantur Zhumayev won gold at the Asian Championship among athletes under 16 years of age, the press service of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports reported.
The Kyrgyzstani competed in the category up to 52 kilograms. In the 1/8 he defeated an opponent from China, in the quarterfinals - a Turkmen boxer, in the semifinals - a Japanese, and in the final he defeated a Kazakhstani.
The junior championship took place in Astana.
