As part of the working visit of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov to the city of Washington (USA), a ceremony was held to sign a memorandum of understanding on further steps of cooperation in the field of transformation of education between the Cabinet of Ministers and Google Corporation.
During a meeting with Vice President for Government Relations and Public Policy of the American transnational corporation Google, Mark Isakovich, the program for transforming the school education system “Altyn Kazyk” (“Polar Star”) was presented.
“We are proud that we have become the first country in the region to cooperate with Google Education and will apply the most advanced developments in schools throughout Kyrgyzstan, which helps our teachers and schoolchildren master the most advanced knowledge. Our collaboration with Google in the field of education should be just the first step. Our teams are working in the field of developing cloud resources, increasing the efficiency of public services and developing artificial intelligence programs,” said Head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov.
In turn, Google Vice President for Government Relations and Public Policy Mark Isakovich expressed his readiness to develop further cooperation.
“We are pleased to see that your vision for the future of education in your country matches our vision, and we are pleased to partner with the government of the Kyrgyz Republic in making this vision a reality. We know that you are committed to creating human capital in Kyrgyzstan, and we would like to support these efforts,” he said.
Google will support the Altyn Kazyk program to transform the school education system.
Google will provide expert assistance in choosing optimal and promising approaches to the implementation and practical use of these tools in the learning process.
