Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2022 / Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov and Country Director of the UN World Food Program (WFP) in the Kyrgyz Republic Kojiro Nakai signed a Memorandum of understanding on the implementation of the new WFP country strategic plan in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2023-2027.
“The WFP Country Strategic Plan for the next five years is in line with the goals and objectives set out in the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026. I want to assure that the Cabinet of Ministers, all involved state bodies and local governments, in accordance with the Memorandum, will provide timely administrative and logistical support in the implementation of projects on the ground,” Edil Baisalov said.
