Bishkek, Feb. 17, 2022. / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Aziz Aaliev met with Director of the World Bank Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic Naveed Hassan Naqvi.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, during the meeting they discussed the prospects for the development of the energy sector, projects on renewable energy sources, organizational issues of holding a forum on energy development, as well as holding anniversary events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank.
The sides paid special attention to the project of financial rehabilitation of the energy sector.
Aziz Aaliev stressed that the World Bank is a reliable partner of the republic in the implementation of reforms in key areas and noted the contribution of the financial institution to the development of the country. He expressed readiness for further effective cooperation.
Naveed Hassan Naqvi expressed support for the initiatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and readiness for further development of cooperation.
