Bishkek, March 6, 2023. / Kabar /. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov and Chinese Ambassador Du Dewen discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, the implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as projects of mutual interest.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting was also attended by representatives of the China Export Credit Insurance Corporation.
During the meeting, the head of the Cabinet raised the issue of purchasing 1,500 buses made in China for the Bishkek City Hall, in the context of which he emphasized the importance of high-quality and timely study of this issue by the Kyrgyz and Chinese sides.
As part of the discussion, ideas were put forward to open an appropriate assembly and service center for this vehicle in the capital.
In addition, the parties discussed the implementation of the project for the construction of the Bypass Chui Canal-2 (OCHK-2), which will increase the water supply of irrigated lands in Kyrgyzstan. Akylbek Zhaparov emphasized the need to speed up the preparation of a feasibility study for the project and start construction work this year.
In turn, the ambassador expressed her readiness to advance the above issues.
