Kyrgyz Cabinet chairman receives delegation of investors from India

Bishkek, Feb, 1, 2023 / Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov received a delegation of investors from India.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation of projects aimed at developing the system of medical services, in particular, the formation of a new system of medical support, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

Investors noted that the presented system of medical support differs from the existing one, primarily in financing, which includes not only the provision of medical services, but also the repair of medical institutions, the purchase of equipment and the advanced training of medical workers, including through the exchange of experience with foreign colleagues.

As a pilot project, 4 hospitals will be selected, where the specified system will be introduced.

After listening to investors, the head of the Cabinet instructed Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnara Baatyrova to carefully study the proposed project, as well as make proposals for its implementation, including at the initial stage within 4 pilot projects.

Akylbek Zhaparov stressed that this system should be as flexible and accessible as possible for low-income families and socially vulnerable segments of the population.
