Bishkek, May 12, 2023. / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev received Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen.
The press service of the Cabinet said that at the meeting the sides discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation, including within the framework of the implementation of projects in the energy, trade and logistics, agro-industrial, agricultural, economic and business areas.
During the conversation, the sides also discussed the opening of the Bedel checkpoint and the construction of a hydropower plant on the Sary-Jaz River in Issyk-Kul region.
“In the near future, a state visit of the president of the country and a working trip of the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to China are expected. I am sure that following the results of these visits, the Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation will move to a new level,” concluded Torobaev.
