Bishkek, July 8, 2022. / Kabar /. The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan is currently working on putting in order the economy. This is stated in the report "National Economy in New Realities" from June 1, 2021 to 2022 by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov. Earlier, Akylbek Zhaparov read out this report during a meeting with media representatives.
Thus, he stated that the Cabinet of Ministers is currently working on putting in order the economy.
“A plan was developed, consisting of 17 indicators for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. There are already shifts in certain indicators. Thus, according to the second indicator - this is the widespread elimination of poverty in all its forms, we have reached 64 percent. Today, 112,000 families receive benefits. The number of families living below the poverty line ranges from 12,000 to 17,000. Today we have complete information on all these indicators. In general, there are about 300 thousand families in the country, taking into account the disabled and orphans, who are included in the group of the poor,” he said.
At the same time, he stressed that more than 1 million 100 thousand families have reached the average level.
