Bishkek, March 9, 2022 . / Kabar / . Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov held a working meeting on Wednesday on the issue of drug supply during the sharp aggravation of the international situation, the press service of the Government reported.
Baisalov noted that the provision of the population with drugs is an issue of national security and one of the most important state functions, and therefore, at the time of disruption of established supply channels, requires immediate and exhaustive measures from the Cabinet of Ministers.
"There is now concern among citizens about the stability of supplies and the regulation of prices for drugs and medical devices. Pharmaceutical companies, for their part, raise the issue of uninterrupted supply of goods in view of recent events in the region and high exchange rate fluctuations," he said.
At the end of the meeting, Edil Baisalov instructed to make a complete list of vital medicines so that a clear and stable supply logistics could be established.
In addition, the deputy chairman of the Cabinet gave a number of instructions to launch production lines and development of the pharmaceutical industry.
The meeting participants discussed and approved a number of other proposals and anti-crisis measures to ensure the stability of the pharmaceutical market.
