Bishkek, Jan. 11, 2025. / Kabar /. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev held a working meeting on tourism development in the country.
The Cabinet of Ministers said that the event was attended by heads of relevant ministries, as well as representatives of the tourism industry.
The main focus was on improving infrastructure for tourists, creating favorable conditions for investment in the tourism sector and developing new tourist routes.
Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that tourism is an important component of economic growth and job creation. He emphasized that in recent years, the Cabinet of Ministers has been actively working to improve tourism infrastructure.
"In 2025, it is planned to launch 40 tourist bases throughout the republic. We must improve service, develop unique routes and ensure safety at all stages of travel,” he said. During the meeting, issues of developing a Roadmap for the implementation of the Tourist Bases project were discussed, according to which it is proposed to launch one tourist facility in each region of the country, issues of the mechanism for implementing projects, developing specific standards for these destinations and the mechanism for their financing were considered.
