Kyrgyz Cabinet head arrives in Vienna on working visit

Bishkek, June 10, 2024. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov arrived in Vienna (Austria) on a working visit.

During the working trip, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers will take part in the international energy investment forum.

The main topic of discussion will be the Kambarata HPP-1 construction project

In addition, Akylbek Zhaparov will present a country presentation at the forum and take part in the plenary session and panel sessions dedicated to the hydropower potential of the republic.

Also, the Chairman of the Cabinet will hold a number of bilateral meetings, in particular with Federal Minister of European and International Affairs of Austria Alexander Schallenberg and Federal Minister of Economics and Labor of Austria Martin Kocher.

At the same time, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers will hold negotiations with the heads of European hydropower companies.
