Bishkek, May 3, 2024. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, as part of his working visit to Tashkent, met with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers in his speech outlined the priority directions of the national development program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2026, proposing the development of cooperation in the field of water resources, mining, agro-industry, transport, light industry and construction.
“All these areas need the support of international development partners. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry has developed one hundred projects at the state level. We need support is needed to resolve issues, especially in the area of water resources,” he said.
In turn, EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso said that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is ready to support government projects aimed at improving public administration.
