Kyrgyz Cabinet head holds talks with chairman of board of China’s Xinjiang Hualing Corporation

Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2023. /Kabar/. Akylbek Zhaparov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic visited a number of industrial and manufacturing enterprises of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR) of China as part of his working trip to XUAR, the Cabinet of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Thus, Akylbek Zhaparov visited the Xinjiang Hualing Corporation in the city of Urumqi (XUAR), where he got acquainted with the activities of the meat plant, which is a subsidiary of the corporation.

He was shown a meat cluster. The plant is fully digitalized and equipped with the most modern equipment for slaughtering livestock and shock freezing of finished products.

Further, the head of the cabinet held talks with chairman of the board of the Xinjiang Hualing Industry And Trade (Group) corporation Mi Enhua.

Akylbek Zhaparov noted that the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in attracting investments from China and is ready to create all conditions for increasing cooperation in the field of agriculture, hospitality, logistics, construction, real estate and trade.

“We came for new technologies in the livestock complex, in the field of drip irrigation. Climate change, the growing population of the planet are raising the issue of clean and sustainable energy in a new way. We are interested in cooperation in this area as a country standing at the source of water,” the head of the Cabinet said.

In addition, he acquainted the representatives of the corporation with the composition of the Kyrgyz delegation, noting that this meeting will provide an opportunity to establish direct contacts with partners from China and move on to discussing real projects.

In turn, the chairman of the Board of the Xinjiang Hualing Corporation expressed readiness for fruitful cooperation and noted that the corporation considers Kyrgyzstan as one of the potential partners for cooperation in the field of agriculture, renewable energy, hydropower and logistics.

At the end of the meeting, Akylbek Zhaparov invited representatives of the corporation to visit Kyrgyzstan on a mutual visit to further implement joint projects.
