Bishkek, Jan.17, 2025. /Kabar/. A list of promising investment projects was approved during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan on Friday.
Head of the Department for the Preparation of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Presidential Administration Azamat Kadyraliev said that the list includes:
- 6 projects in the energy sector,
- 9 projects on the formation of sustainable cities and villages,
- 3 projects to strengthen the potential of industry,
- 11 projects in the sphere of transportation and logistics, 3 projects in the sphere of tourism, 2 projects on development of natural resources,
- 10 projects in the field of irrigation.
He added that this list will be further supplemented with other important projects.
Among the promising investment projects are the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, Kambarata HPP-1 and commissioning of the second hydroelectric unit of Kambar-Ata HPP-2, construction of the Asman city, construction of regional roads and improvement of airport infrastructure, including the fulfillment of the President's instruction to pave roads to every village, construction of the cross-border international highway through Bedel Pass, Kulanak and Kazarman HPPs, construction of the Kyrgyz Courchevel tourist complex and other large-scale mining clusters and irrigation projects.
