Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov met with Maksat Aiylchiev, Suyumkan Toktobaeva and Kerezbek Rysaliev, invited on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, approved by the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, during the meeting Akylbek Zhaparov noted that the attitude towards people with health limitations is an indicator of the maturity of society.
He added that the creation of opportunities and conditions for the self-realization of each person is one of the priority tasks of the state.
“We must create such conditions so that every person with disabilities can be realized in all spheres of life, including sports, creativity, art and government work, ”said the head of the Cabinet.
Akylbek Zhaparov noted that in October this year, monthly social benefits for people with disabilities of I, II and III groups were increased by 100%.
The chairman of the Cabinet stressed that the state will continue to work to improve conditions for persons with disabilities
