Bishkek, June 16, 2021 . / Kabar / . The epidemiological situation in Bishkek is tense, there is a third outbreak of COVID-19, the press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office said Wednesday.
257 new coronavirus cases have been detected in the capital in the last 24 hours.
In addition, 4,802 people are under observation by doctors at family medicine centers, of whom 1,801 have positive PCR-analysis (asymptomatic and mild course of the disease). 3,000 people are also under home quarantine as contact persons.
609 people turned to the ambulance in the past day, 2,186 calls were made, 470 visit were performed.
135 people have been hospitalized with COVID-19, the virus was detected in 29 people; 56 citizens have been diagnosed with pneumonia and 3 people have acute respiratory viral infection.
As of today, 111,990 positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Kyrgyzstan, including 103,565 recoveries and 1,912 fatalities.
