According to the Republican Center for Health Promotion, as part of the World Health Day, citizens can pass an express test for HIV, measure blood sugar level, measure blood pressure, get advice on smoking cessation, healthy diet, mental health, first aid, etc.
In addition, health and entertainment programs, accompanied by music from the military band, in particular, a concert, flash mob, a master class on physical exercise, Nordic walking, chess, tennis, arm wrestling tournaments, and much more will be presented within the action.
The event will end with a bike parade.
The World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on Apr. 7, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other related organizations.
World Health Day is one of 11 official global health campaigns marked by WHO, along with World Tuberculosis Day, World Immunization Week, World Malaria Day, World No Tobacco Day, World AIDS Day, World Blood Donor Day, World Chagas Disease Day, World Patient Safety Day, World Antimicrobial Awareness Week and World Hepatitis Day.
