Bishkek, Dec. 21, 2021 . / Kabar /. The Palace of Sports in Bishkek is hosting an international grand prix tournament in memory of the founder of Alysh (Kyrgyz wrestling) belt wrestling, public figure Bayaman Erkinbaev.
The Directorate of National Wrestling of Kyrgyzstan reported that 160 athletes from Ukraine, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan participate in the tournament, which is held for the 10th time this year.
Men performs in freestyle and classic wrestling in the weight category 60kg, 70kg, 80kg, 90kg, 100kg, +100kg, while women - 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, +70kg.
Winners will be awarded diplomas, medals and cash prizes. The prize fund is KGS 540 thousand (USD 6,367). The main prizes are car and a certificate for USD 1,500.
International Grand Prix Belt Wrestling Tournament Alysh is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy, Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy, Directorate of National Sports and International Belt Wrestling Federation Alysh.
