Kyrgyz capital to host int’l forum for teachers of Russian language

Bishkek, Nov. 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . An international forum "Teaching Russian language in the multi-space CIS countries: specifics, prospects, tasks" will take place in Bishkek on Dec. 10, the press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office said.

The international forum is an open platform for free exchange of opinions on topical issues of teaching Russian language in CIS countries.

The event will unite teachers of Russian language and teachers of centers of open education in Russian from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova and will allow to strengthen professional ties between teachers of Commonwealth.

The program of the forum includes strategic sessions, lectures, round tables, and master classes by recognized experts, scholars, and practitioners in the field of Russian language teaching abroad.

At the forum, Kyrgyzstan will be represented by M. D. Tagaev, doctor of philological sciences, professor of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.

Given the epidemiological situation, the event will be held in a mixed face-to-face and remote format. Teachers from local studios in other CIS countries will join the face-to-face events in Bishkek online.
