Kyrgyz-Chinese border remains closed

Bishkek, Jan.31, 2020. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz-Chinese border remains closed. Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The border should have been opened today.

On weekends (Saturday and Sunday) the border with China is always closed. It is not known whether it will be opened on Monday.

"We will further inform when the border is open," the Border’s press service said.

Note that Kyrgyzstan’s border with China has been closed on Jan.24-30 due to the New Year celebrations in the People’s Republic of China.

Previously, the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic said in this report that admittance of persons, vehicles and cargo will resume on Jan.31, 2020.
