Bishkek, June 27, 2022. /Kabar/. A Kyrgyz-Chinese Business Forum was held in online and offline formats entitled “Invest in the Kyrgyz Republic," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said.
The event was organized by the Kyrgyz Embassy in China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and the China Overseas Development Association (CODA). The event was attended by more than 350 representatives of Chinese companies and private investors.
The Business Forum was opened by Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev. Kyrgyz Ambassador to China Kanaiym Baktygulova, Chairwoman of the Board of the State Mortgage Company of Kyrgyzstan Aida Tologonova, and CODA Chairman He Zhenwei also delivered speeches.
Management and representatives of the Economy Ministry, Agriculture Ministry, National Investment Agency under the President, Batken Oblast governor, the State Mortgage Company, State-Private Partnership Center, Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund, Kyrgyzindustria OJSC, Tourism Development Support Fund OJSC, Kyrgyz Pochtasy SE and Association of Solar and Wind Power Plants of Kyrgyzstan presented information on the investment potential of the country, including investment projects in various areas.
Chinese companies expressed interest in cooperation with the Kyrgyz side. As a result of the event, an agreement was reached to intensify mutual contacts, including the organization of the visit of representatives of the Chinese business delegation to Kyrgyzstan.
