Kyrgyz-Chinese State Border to be closed from February 2 to 10 – SBS

Bishkek, Jan. 30, 2019. /Kabar/. From February 2 to 10, the Kyrgyz-Chinese state border will be closed, the public and media relations department of the State Border Service (SBS) of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

"At the initiative of the Chinese side, in connection with the celebration of the national Spring holiday (New Year), Torugart-Avtodorozhny and Irkeshtam- Avtodorozhny checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed from February 2 to 10, 2019", the statement read.

The passage of persons, vehicles and cargo will resume on February 11, 2019.
