Kyrgyz cinema night held in Brussels

Bishkek, Dec.5, 2024. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz cinema night, dedicated to works of Chyngyz Aitmatov and Suimonkul Chokmorov, as well as the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was held in Brussels on Dec.3.

The Kyrgyz Embassy in Belgium reported that the event was organized jointly with the Embassy of Russia.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps in Belgium, including ambassadors of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, as well as supporters of the works of Chyngyz Aitmatov.

In their speeches, Ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan Aidit Erkin and Russia Alexander Tokovinin noted the bright life path of the great Kyrgyzstani, and also emphasized the universality of the ideas of humanism and the relevance of universal human problems raised in his works.

As part of the event, Early Cranes movie was shown based on the story of the same name by Aitmatov.

In addition, the photo exhibition dedicated to the famous Kyrgyz writer and International Mountain Day aroused the interest of those present.
