Kyrgyz citizen tests positive for COVID-19 after arrival from Russia

Bishkek, Apr. 25, 2020. /Kabar/. One of 177 Kyrgyz citizens who arrived from Novosibirsk on Apr. 22 tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Sabirzhan Abdikarimov said at a news briefing.

"As for the flight from Istanbul on Apr. 24, 351 people were tested for coronavirus infection, procedures will be carried out when analyses are ready.

To date, Apr. 25, 9 new cases of coronavirus infection have been revealed in Kyrgyzstan, 665 in total.

Of these, 175 cases are medical workers infection.

A total of 345 citizens have cured and discharged from hospitals, 8 have died.
