The press service of the Batken Oblast Police Department said that at 05:45 a.m. local time, citizens of Tajikistan fired shots towards the military unit, and stones were thrown at passing cars on the Osh-Isfana highway from the Tajik village.
A 30-year-old resident of the Kyrgyz village of Kok-Tash received a gunshot wound in the eye, he was hospitalized in a hospital.
Law enforcement officers are on duty at the place of the conflict in an enhanced mode.
