Kyrgyz citizens airlifted from Saudi Arabia

Bishkek, July 1, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, July 1 Kyrgyz citizens have arrived in Bishkek from Saudi Arabia, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.

"In accordance with the instruction of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, as part of the ongoing work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens from abroad in connection with the suspension of international passenger air traffic amid spread of COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic in the world, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry has worked out the organization of a charter flight of Flynas airline on the Dammam-Bishkek route, on which 121 Kyrgyz citizens have been returned to the homeland from Saudi Arabia," the report says.

Also, 39 Kazakhstanis, who were taken from Manas International Airport to Kazakhstan by special transport have arrived on this flight.

All those arrived are placed under surveillance (observation) to undergo appropriate medical procedures in accordance with the established procedure.

The work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens who are in foreign countries and wish to return to their homeland continues.
