Bishkek, May 4, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, May 4 in cooperation with the Kazakh side, 29 citizens of Kyrgyzstan from Ukraine, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia have returned to Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.
"This work was carried out in the framework of implementation of the tasks, set by Kyrgyz President on the return of Kyrgyz citizens from foreign countries in conditions of closed borders and suspension of international passenger air travel due to spread of coronavirus infection pandemic in the world," the report says.
These citizens on a commercial charter flight of the Ukrainian airline, following the Kiev-Budapest-Taraz route arrived at Taraz International Airport, from which they were taken by special transport, accompanied by an employee of the health authorities in Bishkek.
"The search for possible ways to return the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who are in foreign countries, including with the support and assistance of partner countries is continuing,” the statement reads.
