Bishkek, Jan. 7, 2021 / Kabar /. In countries with strict quarantine, Kyrgyzstanis will be able to come and vote in the presidential elections and the referendum in the Kyrgyz Republic, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Azizbek Madmarov told reporters on Wednesday.
He said that in countries such as the United Kingdom, where strict quarantine has been introduced in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, voting for Kyrgyzstanis will be possible.
“We have agreed with the Foreign Ministries to allow our citizens to get to embassies and consulates and vote in elections,” he said.
The early presidential elections and a referendum on the form of government will be held in Kyrgyzstan on Jan. 10.
