Bishkek, March 22 / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz diaspora in Guangzhou celebrated Nooruz holiday on March 19, the General Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in Guangzhou reported.
85 Kyrgyz citizens took part in the event, 55 of them are students. Speaking with a welcoming speech, Consul General Maksat Tentimishov congratulated the participants of the event on Nooruz holiday and also spoke about the aspects of the activity of the consular department.
"As part of the evening event, active participants of the Kyrgyz diaspora organized a cultural program with various competitions, the winners of which were awarded memorable prizes," the report said.
