Bishkek, July 27, 2021 . / Kabar / . Head of Airport Certification Department of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan Nurzhan Myrzabekov told at a press conference at Kabar News Agency which flights are operated on a regular basis and which are planned.
He said airlines currently operate the following regular flights:
- Turkish Airlines on the Istanbul-Bishkek-Istanbul route 17 flights a week; Antalya-Bishkek-Antalya 2 flights a week;.
- Pegasus Airlines operates 10 flights per week on the Istanbul-Bishkek-Istanbul route, 5 flights per week on Antalya-Bishkek-Antalya route;
- Fly Dubai airline carries out 14 flights per week on the Dubai-Bishkek-Dubai route.
- Uzbekistan Airways operates 3 flights per week on the Tashkent-Bishkek-Tashkent route;
- Air Astana on the Almaty-Bishkek-Almaty route 7 flights per week;
- Aeroflot carries out 2 flights, Ural Airlines - 1 flight, Air Traffic Company - 3 flights on the Bishkek-Moscow-Bishkek route.
"During the last period, flights have been opened on these routes: Kuwait-Bishkek-Kuwait, Antalya-Bishkek-Antalya, Turkestan-Bishkek-Turkestan, Mashhad-Bishkek-Mashhad, a charter flight Bishkek-Batumi-Bishkek,”Myrzabekov said.
The Issyk-Kul International Airport in Tamchi currently serves charter flights from seven Russian cities.
"One of these days it is planned to launch flights on the Ankara-Bishkek-Ankara route with a frequency of three times a week by Turkish Airlines and Bishkek-Minsk-Bishkek by Air Traffic Company,” the head of the department added.
