Kyrgyz culture minister meets with minister of youth and sports of Azerbaijan in Baku

Bishkek, April 24, 2024 / Kabar/. The Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynbek Maksutov met yesterday with Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farid Fazil oglu Gaibov.

According to the Ministry of Culture, the parties discussed priority areas of bilateral cooperation in the field of youth policy and sports.

Altynbek Maksutov noted that the intensification of these relations increases the mutual participation of young athletes in tournaments of member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, especially in Olympic and national sports.

Maksutov also proposed developing a bilateral Roadmap to strengthen cooperation.

The Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic started in Baku the day before. The first event was the Days of Kyrgyz Cinema.
