Kyrgyz culture presented at charity fair in New Delhi

Bishkek, Feb. 6, 2024. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstanis took part in the 33rd international charitable diplomatic bazaar in New Delhi, the Kyrgyz Embassy in India reported.

The event took place on February 3. The Kyrgyz pavilion was filled with felt products, as well as domestic honey and dried fruits. Visitors were told about tourism in Kyrgyzstan and were given brochures with information about the country and the epic “Manas” in Hindi.

Along with creative groups from other countries, Kyrgyzstanis performed the kara-jorgo dance. Visitors to the fair really liked the national costumes of the artists, so many came up and took pictures.

In addition, in the Kyrgyz pavilion they were treated to dishes of national cuisine.

The Diplomatic Bazaar is organized annually by the Delhi Commonwealth of Women's Associations (DCWA) in association with foreign embassies.

The event has a charitable purpose, and the funds raised by the organizers will go to the needs of a medical center and educational institution for children with disabilities.
