Kyrgyz defence minister in Azerbaijan for official visit

Bishkek, July 7, 2023 . / Kabar / . Minister of Defence of Kyrgyzstan Baktybek Bekbolotov arrived the day before in Azerbaijan for an official visit.

In the framework of the visit, a wreath-laying ceremony on Shehid Alley was held and an official meeting at the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan with the participation of heads of defense ministries of the two countries took place.

During the meeting, the Kyrgyz minister held talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Zakir Hasanov in a narrow format, as well as expanded format meetings of the delegations.

The sides discussed current issues and prospects for the development of military and military-technical cooperation.

In addition, meetings with members of the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers, First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyubov and Minister of Defense Industry Madat Guliyev, as well as a visit to the H.Aliyev Military Institute are planned within the framework of the visit.
