Bishkek, March 28, 2024 / Kabar/. The Kyrgyz delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Finance Ruslan Suinaliev held a number of meetings with representatives of financial institutions of the Republic of Korea and Japan.
Negotiations were held in Seoul with the Credit Guarantee Fund of Korea, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, the Exim Bank of Korea, and the Korea Development Bank.
Meetings and signing of memorandums of cooperation between Guarantee Fund OJSC and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) and the Credit Guarantee Fund of Korea (KODIT) are an important step to deepen mutually beneficial relations.
Exchanging experiences in introducing new instruments and financing mechanisms, as well as exchanging information on economic trends, will help both parties improve their practices and adapt to changing conditions in the global market. These steps will create more stable and productive relations between Kyrgyzstan and South Korea, the report said.
Then the Kyrgyz delegation held a series of meetings in the cities of Tokyo and Kyoto with representatives of the Japan SME Development Agency and Sumitomo Mitsui Bank, the Japan Federation of Credit Guarantee Corporations, the Japan Finance Corporation, etc.
The parties discussed issues of financing small and medium-sized businesses in the two countries, lending and guaranteeing projects (SMEs), possible areas of cooperation, and also exchanged information about the activities and achievements of organizations.
