Bishkek, Oct. 3, 2017 /Kabar/. The delegation of Kyrgyzstan participates in the annual meeting of the General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland, the press service of the State Service of Intellectual Property and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The annual meeting of the WIPO General Assembly has started yesterday and will last until October 11, 2017.
The delegation of Kyrgyzstan headed by chairman of the State Service of Intellectual Property and Innovations Dosaly Esenaliev takes part in the work of the WIPO General Assembly.
On the first day of the meeting, elections to the governing bodies of WIPO took place. Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, Daniyar Mukashev was unanimously elected the Chairman of the WIPO Coordination Committee, which, together with the General Assembly and the WIPO Conference, is the governing body of the entire Organization.
