Bishkek, Nov. 8, 2018. /Kabar/. A delegation of Kyrgyzstan led by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aidarbekov took part in a joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Ministers of Defense and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO CFM, CMD, CSSC) шn Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that Aidarbekov briefly informed the meeting participants about the priorities of the Kyrgyz Republic for the next intersessional period as the presiding party to the CSTO.
At the joint meeting, at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, a statement was made by the CSTO member states on topical issues of countering illegal migration, draft decisions were approved on the development and improvement of political and military cooperation of CSTO member states, ensuring information security, countering illegal migration, financial, economic and legal support for the activities of the Organization, submitted for consideration by the country leaders during the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
