Kyrgyz delegation to attend meetings of SCO and CIS industry ministers in Tashkent

Tashkent, July 14, 2022. /Kabar/. A delegation of Kyrgyzstan, headed by Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev, will participate in Meeting of Industry Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and 8th meeting of CIS member states Council on Industrial Policy, which will be chaired by Uzbekistan on July 15 in Tashkent, Kabar News Agency has learnt from the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Uzbekistan.

Participants of the meetings will discuss the issues of further activation and increase of interaction within the framework of these multilateral organizations in the interests of industrial development, ensuring sustainable growth of industrial production on the basis of cooperation, implementation of joint investment projects, introduction of new technologies, involving material and financial resources, increasing labor productivity and diversification of industrial production.

A number of important documents aimed at the development of industries of the SCO and CIS countries are expected to be approved.

The Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported that the events will also be attended by industry ministers of India, Pakistan, Tajikistan, deputy line ministries of Kazakhstan, Russia, China and Belarus, SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Ilhomjon Nematov, including representatives of Russian and Kazakh business communities.
