Kyrgyz delegation to attend Tashkent International Conference on Afghanistan

Tashkent, July 25, 2022. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz delegation, headed by Taalatbek Masadykov, the special representative of Kyrgyz President for special assignments will take part in the international conference on Afghanistan in Tashkent, the Kyrgyz Embassy in Tashkent reported.

The delegation includes Director of the 4th Political Department of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry Avazbek Atakhanov and Deputy Director of the National Institute of International Studies of Kyrgyzstan Edil Osmonbetov.

Tashkent International Conference on the theme: "Afghanistan: security and economic development" will be held on July 25-26 in the capital of Uzbekistan.

The event will be a continuation of the Tashkent High-Level International Conference on Afghanistan "Peace Process, Security Cooperation and Regional Cooperation". (March 27, 2018) and the Tashkent High-Level International Conference "Central and South Asia: Regional Interconnectedness. Challenges and Opportunities" (July 15-16, 2021).
