Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2024. / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov met with visiting UN Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons with disabilities Heba Hagrass.
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that the meeting was also attended by international partners, including the head of the Regional Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Central Asia, as well as representatives of government agencies.
The sides discussed key issues related to the rights of persons with disabilities and the implementation of the state program "Accessible Country" aimed at improving the living conditions of persons with disabilities in Kyrgyzstan.
UN Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons with disabilities Heba Hagrass will be on an official visit to Kyrgyzstan until October 3, 2024.
