Kyrgyz deputy FM meets with authorized representative of World Bank

Bishkek, May 31, 2022. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbaev met with Plenipotentiary Representative of the World Bank in the Kyrgyz Republic Naveed Hassan Naqvi.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the meeting the sides discussed issues of further fruitful cooperation, as well as promotion of projects implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the World Bank. In particular, attention was drawn to projects in the field of green economy, renewable energy sources and digitalization.

Artykbaev noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the World Bank Group, and also informed about the establishment of the Eighth Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to strengthen further cooperation and increase the level of interaction between government bodies and international financial institutions.
