Bishkek, May 17, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz anesthesiologist and intensive care physician Chinara Dzhantosheva has received high recognition from the Government of the UAE for her dedicated work in ensuring public health and in the fight against COVID-19 coronavirus on the front lines.
Dzhantosheva works in the intensive care department of the Emirate of Dubai's Rashid Hospital (UAE), official Facebook account of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Dubai and the Northern Emirates reported.
Thus, among 212 medical workers of various specialties, who also received high recognition, doctor Chinara Dzhantosheva has been granted a 10-year golden resident visa by the decision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Ruler of Dubai in appreciation for the “selfless dedication to caring for infected patients”.
The golden card is a long-term residency scheme announced by Sheikh Mohammed last year, TheNational reports.
It aims to boost the investment of entrepreneurs, businessmen, doctors, foreign investors and other specialists.
In a separate announcement, authorities said holders of expired visit and residency visas would be given a three-month grace period exempting them from fines, starting from May 18.
Sheikh Mohammed said the efforts of medical, nursing and administrative staff across the UAE have been crucial to containing the spread of the virus and providing the highest level of care to patients.
