Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2024. /Kabar/. A team of doctors from the National Hospital of Kyrgyzstan will undergo training in kidney transplantation in Turkiye.
Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev today visited the National Hospital and met with urologists.
In order to fulfill the order of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov on the development of organ transplantation in the Kyrgyz Republic, a team of 8 doctors was formed from specialists from the National Hospital, who will fly tomorrow for training to one of the leading organ transplantation clinics in Turkiye.
At the first stage, 4 urologists will be sent, and after a month 4 doctors will be sent.
The minister noted at the meeting that the day before, a coordination meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, where the issue of implementing the president’s order on the development of kidney transplantation from a related donor in Kyrgyzstan was discussed.
“There are already trained specialists at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health. This team, after training, will perform a kidney transplant at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital. Therefore, you have a great responsibility. I wish you success in your studies,” Beishenaliev said.
