Bishkek, Jan.22, 2020. /Kabar/. Ala-Too Aiymdary (Ala-Too Women) Ecological Movement of Kyrgyzstan awarded the title of Man of 2019 to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Zhypargul Bargibayeva, the organization’s chairwoman told at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
A special commission, consisting of people who have made an immense contribution to the development of the country, identified the leader of Uzbekistan worthy of this award.
Chairwoman Bargibayeva reminded last year Mirziyoyev named a street in Tashkent after Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov and built Manas village to perpetuate his memory.
The ceremony of awarding the title took place on Dec. 25 at the Moldobasanov Conservatory. The organization’s representatives will try to hand the statuette of crystal to the Uzbek leader personally or through the Embassy.
Public figure, Chyngyz Aitmatov’s sister Rosa Aitmatova said the border issues have been resolved with the arrival of Mirziyoyev as president.
In addition, Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Jamankulov, Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov and many others were awarded medals and awards.
Note that this nomination was awarded to Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2016, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in 2017, and Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov in 2018.
Public Association Ala-Too Aiymdary Environmental Movement was founded in 2010.
It calls for peace, friendship and consent of the peoples of the world under the “A woman will save the world!” motto.
Within the framework of strengthening friendly relations with other states, positive success was achieved in cooperation with the Union of Women of Russia.
