Bishkek, March 11, 2022 . / Kabar /. Ala-Too Aiymdary ecological movement from Kyrgyzstan awarded the title of Person of the Year 2021 to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Chairwoman of the organization Zhypargul Bargibaeva said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
She noted that a special commission of people who made a colossal contribution to the country's development determined the Turkish leader worthy of this award.
"Earlier, the award was given to Presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin, Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. Thus, if earlier the awards were handed over through representations, this time the award is planned to be handed over personally," Bargibaeva adeed.
In turn, Chairwoman of the Kurmanjan Datka Charitable Foundation Zhyldyzkan Zholdoshova said the Turkish leader deserves this award for his contribution to world peace and his concern for the world community.
People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan Gulshan Moldoeva also noted that Turkey's leader has been a bridge to solving many world problems for many years.
"Also, Turkey has a high status among Muslim countries," she pointed out.
